Interested in coming out to a free security conference fairly close to the Maryland area? Interested in hearing me speak? Want to get away from a day of work? If you answers yes to any of these questions may I suggest you Google BSides Deleware. BSides offer a great learning opportunity and are free (registration is required) and as an added bonus you can bear me speak on DuckSauce.
DuckSauce sound strange to you? It should and that is OK – I like naming my projects on food :). I will give an introduction to “hacking” (more along the lines of social engineering) systems via a HID (human input device) and then describe the work I have been doing around the Hak5 USBRubber Ducky (a HID device that runs payloads). I have put together a lot payloads and tools for creating payloads which is the bread and butter of hacking via a HID.
Update 11/8: Heading up to DE tomorrow morning hope to see some familiar faces in my DuckSauce talk. DuckSauce v.02 will be launched Friday night.
